Our team offers professional photographic services and high-resolution images of Lubbock, Texas, and the southwestern USA. Our specialties include wedding photography, people & pet portraiture, landscapes, special events, architectural and commercial photography, product and macro imagery. Now, for some background trivia...Since the late 1960s - I've enjoyed taking black and white photos because of the mystique of seeing an image first appear in the developer tray and knowing it would be shared with others. That interest was enhanced while employed as a newspaper photographer in Elk City, Oklahoma. My, how times have changed the way we take photographs and develop them…
Graduation from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology led to a career with Motorola as a communications "Troubleshooter" and Field Technical Representative. After working for this big corporation, I became an independent businessman with the establishment of Lubbock Communications, Inc., an Authorized Motorola Sales and Service Facility in Lubbock, TX.
In 2000, I changed emphasis from engineering to professional photography. It's a change that I'll never regret! My biggest thrill thus far was photographing the International Space Station as it passed over Commander McCool's bronze sculpture in Lubbock. I love photographing the beauty of a natural landmark as illuminated only by moonlight. I specialize in wedding photography, high-resolution macro-photography and landscapes, as well as people and pet portraiture.
My primary cameras are the newest Canon 5D MK3 (and the MK2 as a secondary camera) and "L" series lenses with ranges from 16mm to 800mm. My photos can be viewed on the Internet, my Facebook pages, and at various Texas locations.
Photography gives me a wonderful opportunity to experience and share moments captured in time.
I'm available to shoot sessions in studio or at a location of your choice.
